As sad as this story is, you would have to be really dumb to give a woman you have not met $10k and buy her a new SUV. He sent the wrong signals, that he had money and that was his undoing.

But there are dumb fucks who go to Sosua, too and do the same shit. There have been guys on this very forum who have become obsessed with their whore/WU girlfriends and lose their fucking minds.
This is what gets me nervous about the game. I just hope nothing like this happens in Sosua-I can only imagine what the backlash would be by the government.

I dated a stripper for a while. You wouldn't believe the shit that guys will give a woman that they aren't even fucking. We'd laugh about it while counting their money. She never asked me for a dime and insisted on paying every other time we went out (which was fine with me because she made more money than me at the time). Ulitimatly, it did not work out (She had a cop ex husband who she had two kids with that made things too difficult).
It's too bad the guy had to die, but I agree with Phoenix that he brought it on himeself. People that let other people take advantage of them attract the worst types. It's like blood in shark-infested waters.

For those who weren't paying attention this woman was not a whore. She was a 41 year old mother from a good family. This could have happened anywhere in the world. Poor fellow, but no worse than the older women that are killed by their gigolo boyfriends or the husbands/wifes that get murdered for the insurance proceeds. Unfortunately the world is full of fucked up folks.

But then Rachid - to raise money to pay off the hit man - took part in the holdup of a black-market money changer
She had just stolen $200,000 but had to stage a hold-up to pay the hitman $5600 ???
... and accidentally left her purse behind ... Hours later, Rachid showed up at the same police station to report her purse stolen. Police arrested her on the spot.
Obviously a criminal mastermind!
Rachid's boyfriend was questioned by police in early October but was released under a Brazilian law that says no one can be arrested in the days immediately before and after an election, investigators said. Now he cannot be found.
