    Well, there is no bus from the airport. You need to take a taxi to the bus station. It about $20.00 usd. Then the bus to pop is about $180. Pesos.

    You can blame it on oil and also bookings. I work for and airline and we had many flights to DR. Now we are down to two (WTF??). The flights were not leaving full and the cost was too much to run a empty plane.

    Don't blame it on oil. When oil prices go up, airlines raise their prices. When oil prices go down airlines prices don't go down, instead they take the fuel savings to profit. The big question is will the constant rise in airline prices kill the golden goose for trips to and from such places as DR, CR and Colombia.
