Shared taxis picket in Santiago

Drivers serving several public transport routes in Santiago picketed yesterday, Monday 3 September, protesting at the fines they are receiving from the transport regulation authorities.

They said that the actions of the Santiago Metropolitan Transport Authority, Ametrasan, is making the drivers desperate and anxious and that they would continue protesting every Monday until the situation improved.
