07/2011 - New Exotica Nightclub in Cabarete
Some friends of mine are opening up a new 'Passions' type hooker joint in Cabarete.
I chatted with the owner today and he told me that he has got 30 chicas lined up (20 from EL Bohem and Cristal in POP and 10 from '305' in SD) ready to start.
The chicas will live on-site and there will be at least 5 on-site session rooms.
The location is opposite Ocean Dream behind 'WOW' bar on the right hand side as you enter Cabarete from Sosua and the entrance is the small underpass in Plaza D'Alexander.
He is waiting for furniture to arrive from Miami and hopes to open doors in mid-August.
I'll update this when I have the name of the place and any more info.

Out of curiosity, is he a local or a foreigner?
Re: New as yet un-named place in Cabarete
nice added draw for your condo rental ;)
Re: New as yet un-named place in Cabarete
That will certainly shake things up, should be interesting. Guys that run those places are so cut throat. All competing for the same dollar. I thought it was something the way things go on down south, but seem we got a new plaaaya in town. Time to sit back and watch.

Who ever it is has some Juice.

Are the owners politically connected? Or some Dominican official is going to shut them down in a year and then take them over...

The owners are Canadian, well funded and have a penchance for tattoos and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
They have been in Cabarete for a long time and know the ropes.
I don't know anyone that fucks around with them. They give and get a lot of respect.

That's probably too negative...I wish them lots of luck and damn if they aren't within walking distance from me... Temptations in this country are off the chart...

Well in that case those guys are well versed in strip clubs, and whore houses, lots of practice, like I said it should be interesting.

You know I had already figured that out I just did not want to come out and say it.

We shall see...this place ain't boring. If this venture doesn't work out and they get their place burned down, their name gets in the papers or there is shooting, every one here will suffer greatly...

CMP has spent some money on the pool area...everything is looking up to date, clean and the attitude of everyone including the owner is up beat... I was really impressed.

It is the same type of club as Passions that is just before you get there on the same side they started out by hiring ex-Passions girls and the regular girls that worked the streets there.

Now I remember it, across from Club Residencial, passed by it last time in Sosua, last November but never went in.
Nor did I know it's name.
