Ten guys going and only one doing the research? It may be one big mess.
Sosua is the place.
Where to go for a bachelor party?

Welcome aboard gb! Good move in getting the trip report access. You'll answer your own question if you do the reading you say you'll do. You've got plenty of time, but I'll say that Sosua is not 'dead' and Boca Chica should also be considered.

Haha yeah.. I'm the only resourceful one I guess
Any suggestion on where to stay? We were thinking of renting a house... how do you feel about that vs hotels?
Thanks for the help!! I'm enjoying reading through everything

He is a rookie, making his first trip, but he was on here daily for 45 days before he went.

:rofl: This should be interesting. I hope you fill us in on what happened, but if I were you, I'd separate myself from the herd.
Re: 04/2010 - Sosua Newbie Advice from a Newbie
The thing about Sosua is that you can have a great time, but you need to be alert. Alert to possible problems so you can sidestep them and alert to opportunities with chicas or you may miss out. It is very hard for 10 guys to be alert as a group. Like trying to manouevre a heavy truck on a dodgem cars rink. You are not all going to want to do the same things in the same places and the same time. And some may be on tighter budgets than others.
I suggest you go out in groups of 3 or 4 (no bigger). You can change the line-ups on successive evenings if you want. That is still enough to make sharing taxis viable and you wont look threatening to others.

gb, I've played Coordinator in the past. I prefer to travel solo now but if I ever did travel in a group again the most I would do would be to let everybody know what flight I'm taking, and provide a short list of hotels and let everybody make their own goddamned arrangements. :)
Re: 04/2010 - Sosua Newbie Advice from a Newbie
I wish I could be a fly on the wall for this clusterfuck in the making.
10 newbies AND as a bachelor party?????
Cono!
Re: 04/2010 - Sosua Newbie Advice from a Newbie
This does sound like a disaster in the making. Where are the hell 10 newbies going to find chicks for a bachelor party without some disagreement going down?

I knew I was getting a sense of Deja vu here. The last guy to try didn't tell us what happened, but wasn't he the one that
none of his hoys wanted to stay at the place he chose for them?
I wonder why he never reported back.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Do your homework regarding everything. With that number of people I would prefer a hotel that can accomodate all of you. Then you are not sharing houses ect so if things go bad between any of the group it won't matter too much. Renting houses will require taxi trips to and from. Thats a pain in the ass for 10 people because you will all be coming and going at different times. Places like Casa Cayena and Victorian House can accomodate that number with reservations made far enough in advance. They might also include breakfast in the price for renting 10 rooms. Never know unless you ask. There are plenty of other hotels in town as well.
The only real upside to renting a villa is having a private pool where chicas can be naked ect..
