I would like to go on a fishing charter while I am in Sousa. Any of you mongers have recommendations?
I am also considering deep sea fishing, while I am there in Oct.
Been to Pablo's site : http://www.aqua-adventures.net/
but when I try to send him a reservation via the site, it returns a forms error!
Does anyone have Pablo's direct email address please? Also, anyone else planning a trip in Oct, interested in going deep sea fishing too?
Mik
Well lets see... if the construction crew goes through today with the tearing down of the shops at the beginning of the beach then his shop will be gone... You can ask Palace John for his contact # cause I almost set up a trip with him ($75 a man for the trip includes all supllies and drinks and food)... the water was rough the day we planned so we and even Pablo changed his mind about going out!
This is a good idea. I thought Big Will was gonna go fishing last time? I hardly see any boats out on the water. I'd love to get a few guys and some chicas and spend an afternoon catching some fish.Quote:

Conroe51,
I am not trying to hijack your thread but I have a question about fishing. Do they have open boats. I live in NJ and an open boat is one where you can go on a boat solo. You don't charter the boat but it is open to individuals. Once the boat is full the group goes fishing.
I really don't know what kind of fish they were. The fish reminded me more the Finding Nemo fishes. This guy was way out there spare fishing.
We had a fishing trip set up for the 17th with puerto plata tours, but the reservation got screwed-up and so did our trip. So we're trying to take one with aqua adventures now. I'll post the links.....

And yes my brothers this can be you as well

So has anyone used Pablo's charter and if so how did it go. I am going down for fishing the weekend of 5/20 and am trying to set something up now. How long a trip does the $75 get you? 8)
I was gonna set one up with him but he said the water was too rough on the day we were gonna go... Its a whole day trip like maybe 5 hours... or until you wanna come back... They provide sandwiches drinks and the crew to help... Also will help u clean them and cook em when u get back... thats what he offered me at leastQuote:

Dsquared i have never seen a girl in the DR that looks even similar to those girls... If you could get me that i would be in debt to you for the rest of my life!
I have two post to put up on fishing. First of all I chartered with Pablo and the cost was $75 per person and the max I think was 4 people. There was me (very hung over and sleeping), my buddy (we will just call him sweaty), and another guy from the palace along with Pablo and his first mate. There was room on the boat but the boat is not large. My speed boat is bigger than his fishing boat. But it worked great for us that day. The problem was that we did not catch any Marlin which is what we were fishing for. Hell we did not catch anything at all.
Pablo was a great host and full of interesting stories. Good thing, cause we did not even get a bite. The water was hot, flat and almost stale. But he did what he was suppose to do, take us fishing. Pablo is great guy though. He helped me out with so other issues that were going on at the time and even showed up at Rockys later to make sure I found my driver.
Ok, here is the 2nd post. Pablo is out of business. I talked with him last week and he told me he sold his boat and is no longer in business.
While out fishing with Pablo we saw a larger boat heading out. Looked very nice, but I doubt if it was only $75. I will post a picture if I can find it. It shows the name. Maybe someone will know some info about it.
Hook it up!!!! A bunch of us want to go fishing. I've been getting PMs about it. :DQuote:
