Question about an AI

Jimmy,

While I am pretty much guaranteed it is not chica friendly, can you tell me how far from town the Bahia Principe is please.

I am considering booking there (price of this AI vacation is cheaper than the airfare alone), drinking their free beer, and going to town every day, and prob. spend at least a few nights in town too!

Sorry forgot to include that, its under Puerto Plata, but says 10 min drive from San Juan!

Then its an hour from Puerto Plata. There is a town there with small bars but I have never been to them.

It's a nice resorts on the coast. For sports you could visit Rio San Juan and catch a Cabana outside the town with the chica.

You could also try Gaspar Hernandes just up the road as this is a little bigger than Rio San Juan.

Roads are like Joefan said, shit. You must use a 4WD if you rent and drive carefully the first few times until you get the hang of it.

If you ever get damage go to the petrol station and ask the tire-guy about a repair shop.. if you speak Spanish they will help you out. Got my exhaust fixed for RD$300 (it fell out from under the Jeepeta)
