Surprise! Hello, Mr. President

Without prior notice, the President of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, just dropped in on the tiny National Police stationhouse in the community of La Laguna in Nisibon in the province of La Altagracia, as reported in Listin Diario and Diario Libre. He found six members of the Police on duty. He asked to use the bathroom. He was accompanied by an escort of just two cars. Apparently monitoring the progress of the extension of the Punta Cana Tourist Boulevard of the East all the way north to Miches, the President, dressed in jeans and a blue check shirt greeted the agents at the stationhouse before using the facilities. Diario Libre reported they were playing domino.
