If you are not confident about going alone, a compromise would be to book at Blackbeards or Field of Dreams where you will be in a safe environment and have chicas on site but you are not committed to taking one or any of them. Or do that for the first half of your trip only and freelance later.

The places that quote you a price including chicas range from OK-ish (but not the best value) to outright scams.

You do not say to which country so the above applies to the Dominican Republic only.
