Your t/r has seemingly elicited a nostalgic moment for me. Had I not already booked a my annual "Ball or Fall Tour" for South America, this report would have compelled me to go and spend some time with "Mami's Bebe". The only problem is that I want to "eff" other chicas while I am there but will not jeopardize the preferred treatment that I am afforded whenever I spend time with her.

This is an awsome thread... Fuckin outstanding pictures by the way. I knew sosua beach was beautiful but I had no idea that other parts of the country were this awsome looking... looks like heaven on earth litterally.... major props on this one guy

Bringing great memories back from the coco bros tour! LT is definately a spot I want to revisit. 30$ for a quad is sick! May have to change my august plans.... Thanks for the intel!

Sosua got nothing on these beaches,,,,,except more restaurants and bars in close proximity (which aint a bad thing),,,

Yeah,,,I had to alot of haggeling for that price on the quad,,,,,and I was doing alot of bitching and moaning,,,,

I really didnt think he was going to accept that price,,,But when I told him I was going to another place,, He said "I'll do that price if you rent it for the whole week ",,,,,

I quickly walked back in and said Deal,,,,

He wanted my passport,,and I told him no,,,,,hear is a copy of my passport,,,,,,,,,

Then he wanted a credit card in case of damage,,,,,

I told him I didnt have one,,,,just cash,,,,,

He didnt like either one of these answers ,,and that is when he called me a malo chico,,,,,


But he finished the paperwork,,,,And we were on our way,,,,,,,,

Now a few years back ,,,Las Terrenas had a Fishermans Villege,,,Pueblo los Pescadores,,,,,,,With bars and restaurants right on the water,,,,

This all burnt down in a suspicious fire on May 7th 2012,,,,,,

The only fire truck in town wasn't working at the the time,,,,,

There are quite a few restaurants,,,,and the food is good,,,

Italian mostly,,,,, and French,,Mediterranean,,,,,,German,,,,,Seafood,,,,

I eat alot of fish,,,,,and they all had that,,,,,

And little momma can never eat more than half,,,,So every meal we ate ,,,,I got to eat half of hers as well as mine,,,:wink:


The only problem was the 18-20% tax they nailed you with,,,,,

That,,,,and if your hotel didnt serve Mangu in the moning,, (which most of these chicas love),,it was very difficult to find in any of the other restaurants,,Where as in sosua ,,you can find it in Baileys,,,la Roca,,,,,etc


I would call it about even in quality with Sosua,,,,,Maybe a slight edge to LT,,,,

But I do have my favorites in Sosua,,,

One of which is Bologna,,,where we went for my birthday on my last night in town on June 2nd,,,,After her family had a little party for me,,,,

The food was outstanding,,,,,,,,,And as usual I had one and a half meals,,,,,:lol:

I think I only had coffee...and beer :lol: in LT but my impression was that it had a much more euro feel to it, perhaps due to the large European expat community.

I liked it and need to return for a week....or 3

I take it you found the prices including taxes to be higher than in Sosua for meals? Say compared to Bologna and Baileys?
