smart move. Should be relatively quiet there. May have to come join you if this forecast keeps up. :wink:

Hopefully your connection on Sunday is not in Miami cause that probably won't be happening.

Re: 09/2017 - Hurricane Irma
8:30 at night and they are shovelling gravel for the bed of the sidewalk in front of bourbon street
Re: 09/2017 - Hurricane Irma
No doubt it'll be an interesting few days. I'll try to share the happenings here should/when the Internet is up.
Maybe be a few others living here can post their experience as well.
Keep the thoughts of locals, friends and families in mind. Looks like it's going to be a wild ride.
Re: 09/2017 - Hurricane Irma
Thanks for the updates.
Be safe and I will hope for the best for you and all of the north coast. I doubt they have fully recovered from all the rains when I was there in December.

I wish Marco were still alive so we could rub this one in his face ....
" The north Coast has NEVER been directly hit with a Hurricane,, EVER, so you guys who dont know what the fuck you are talking about need shut the fuck up..."
:rofl::rofl:
or something like that .. not word for word..
but MAN he used to get pissed off, if anyone even dared challenge him ..
Re: 09/2017 - Hurricane Irma
The north coast most likely will never take a direct strike. Geography lowers the odds significantly.
This one.....maybe is doing it just right. We will see.

Irma has shifted a little bit more north overnight, the eye of the storm being projected at 112 miles from the north coast as compared to 78 miles yesterday. Winds are to hit 25-30 mph which not even a gale storm. Again this is only the projected path. I'm getting the generator ready just in case.
