TAV BUSTED IN THE DR
Alfred and Jennifer Cotten are accused of operating Tropical Adult Vacations. The website paired travelers with prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.
All expenses — including sex — paid.
A Florida couple ran a sex tourism business that sent travelers to the Dominican Republic and paired them with prostitutes, prosecutors said Thursday.
Alfred, 50, and Jennifer Cotten, 49, operators of Tropical Adult Vacations, were charged with promoting prostitution for allegedly managing the women who were sold for sex between July 2011 and August 2015.
Manhattan Assistant DA James Lynch said a Cotten employee met customers at the airport and would “bring them to the resort where they would then choose from a number of prostitutes.”
