DR tourism, taxes, & fees statistics
These topics get discussed over and over and are buried in one of several hundred threads. There are always plenty of statements made, but few ever are substantiated with facts. Inspired by a discussion in ohmmmm's thread today, I decided to do a little research.
Here are the tourism arrival statistics for the DR airports for the last decade or so. This substantiates some claims about the change of venue on the island for tourists......I think. Interesting none the less for you numbers guys.
(stats were found at http://www.one.gob.do/index.php?modu...=view&catid=85)

WickedWillie also put out some info on the topic of airport taxes here. (maybe a mod can move it to this thread)
