    Cashing Checks With Judy

For those of you that use Judy to cash checks when they exchange money. realize that things have changed. They is only one person in DR buying checks at this time in DR and this has effect the exchange. You can now expect to get a point or more less when exchanging checks with Judy. This is not by her doing, but the result of a limited market.

First you need to be vouched for and well second, you do not bounce a check at Judies.

I usually bring enough cash with me and there are ATMs in Sousa, so check cashing really is not a viable option for Mr. Jones.

I usually come with $300-$400 and live off the cashed checks.

I usually bring $1,000 and use my credit cards for meals at restaurants. I find that this is more than enough money to have a DR fuckfest with.

I had no problems with the ATM's. I checked my account, and the exchange rate wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

The posts from this site were on my mind when I went to the ATM. I checked for the removable slots and everything. I also made sure no one was near me when I used it. Plus, I only went during the day.

    Checks, Santo Cruz, etc.

Cash on hand and travelers checks are good. If you are in with some of the other exchange places, then you could cash almost anything without ID, etc....those who are known of course.

For those who come down frequently as I do, I'd suggest opening a Banco Santo Cruz account due to its open network in the states...easier to transfer money back and forth, etc. Plus there is no dollar minimum requirement anymore.

Judy's uses them...you can not go deathly wrong!

all this exchange stuff is a bit strange to me.. as you all know I'm from Holland, so I just plug in the ATM (you need to have sufficient balance of course) and get the moeny.. up till now never been scammed.. but then again I only go during the day times..
