when i saw all those resorts i thought you was doing the family or the wife thing with a lil fucking in between. but if its a straight monger trip

just stick to what you know...casa linda's or if u find a condo is good enough.

those resort fee's and rules aint worth the hassel for us mongers IMO.

Thanks Hempstead..What triggered this question was during our "tourist" part of the trip we went to the mountain in Puerto plata (the one where you take the "lift" up to the top..) We bumped into this "nice one" that was on vacation with her mother..we were having a good conversation and it looked like an evening with the daughter was about to be in place when we told her we were staying in Sousa (casa linda) the mom kinda gave this look and rolled her eyes and said "what a shame" under her breath to the daughter (I understood that much spanish)..and the conversation pretty much died after that..Is that the common perception Dominicanas have when they find out you are staying in Sousa? I guess that is the fate of mongering..You win some you lose some..Maybe I can find a condo in Puerto Plata..

    Re: Slightly more upscale hotels

Mountain View hotel is used by gringo and Dominican businessman. You could bring in one chica if you are reasonably discreet. Sunshine Hotel is mainly used by Dominicans. I don't understand your reluctance to try Harbor View Condos if you want to live in PP. It won't have a reputation among "respectable" Dominicans as a monger haven. There are only 7 condos and 4 of these are rented by non-mongers but you will have no restrictions there on how many chicas you can bring in or at what times. And no extra charges for guests. Excellent kitchens if you want to self-cater, or good reasonably priced food and drinks at Billy's little bar if you don't. Best of all worlds if you ask me.

If you don't have reasonable Spanish, best of luck with picking up a "respectable" girl for sex. You will certainly need other assets (young? good looking? good dancer of bachata/merengue/salsa? prepared to lay out muchos dineros?)

I'm living in Sosua, but when I take overnight trips to Puerto plata, I always stays at Hotel Victoriano. It has a perfeckt location downtown, and the rooms in the new section is realy good. Totaly GF and 1000 pesos a night, cable, celing fan and aircon. Hot water and decent bathrooms, and the rooms are under 1 years old.

If the mom and dad are around always say Cabarete when you deal with regular women. "What a shame"

Yep "Que Lastima"..isn't that what it translates too?? "what a pity" or "what a shame"..And then she said it again but in English!!...Right in front of our damn faces..They were staying in Playa Dorada (spelling?)
They spoke perfect English and were taking pictures with us and teasing us about our poor spanish...I though it was "on" for sure...Once we said we were staying in Sousa that was it..they moved to the other side of the cable car and stuck their heads out of the window until we got to the top of the mountain..and did not say another word..The daughter didn't seem to care, but you know how those dominicanas are about su madre...Lesson learned
