Question Info on Bani or Palmar de Ocoa

I'd appreciate any intel on these two areas located approx 1-2 hours southwest of Santo Domingo. These areas are a bit out of the way and I hope that maybe at least a few of you have been there. Thanks for any help. Sailor02

    Hi,
Was in Banni for one day. Its a busy little town that mainly supplies the public transport. i.e (A big bus station for the Gua Gua's) thats how I got there, on my way to Barahona, Tamayo and Vincente Noble. It looked interesting but I cant talk about the avaibability of the chicas, I did not stay overnight. Had a few funny looks, I do not think there are many gringos walking around. Usual layout a central park with trees and the Local Government buildings. Sorry I cant give you more detail I was in Bani for about 3 hours.

Yeah I figured it was a chic on the internet... Yeah, just do a little research, find a cheap hotel, and hang for a few days...

I can guarantee you that any chick from Bani is DEFINITELY lookin' for her prince to take her out of there.

Thanks to all who have provided info. Just for the record, there is no internet chick. I have to travel there for business, and I'd like to mix in a little pleasure as well. Actually I will be 15 minutes southwest in a beach town called Palmar de Ocoa. I'm still not sure where I'll be staying, so wish me luck. Sailor02
