    Hurricane Resources

Everyone knows about NOAA but I wanted to post some other sites...

    What's going on NOW
National Hurricane Center NOAA - Tropical Storm Prediction Center
Contains: Official reports, some maps, satellite imagery, FAQs, limited history.
    http://www.nhc.noaa.gov

    WeatherUnderground
One of the few commercial weather sites I have found with more info then NOAA.
Contains: Many maps including a Historical Map showing historical hurricanes that ran similar paths also has a map with the 5 major models. Also can get weather info for cities in the DR.
    Downs: Many popups
    http://www.weatherunderground.com/tropical/

    AccuWeather info provided by cremaconpalo
Contains: Official Reports written in plain English, has some prediction models again written in plain English, maps are VERY enhanced for easier reading (though almost comical).

    Software for Hurricanes
    Eye of the Storm
GREAT maps, downloads current storm(s) data, historical info.

    Personal Hurricane Center
Ok map, downloads current storm(s) data, access to a lot of data from various sources: ships, buoys, tide info, airports, satellites, etc.
    Downs: Only 30 free uses

    Crystal Ball Sites (Prediction Centers)
Cyclone phase evolution: Analyses & Forecasts
Many models, hard to navigate if not meteorology inclined but when you find what you want nice easy to read maps.

The Regional and Mesoscale Meteorology (RAMM) Team

Nice maps and organized, their own models (3).
