    I.S.O.C. Rates

Time for me to make up some I.S.O.C. signs, create rates, give it to these cabbies and if they want our exclusive business they will have to work hard at getting it.

Example, taxi from POP airport to Sosua, say $12 and when you go back only $10. If 10 of us use him a week he gets $220. There were 49 of us in Sosua last week that I know of.

    They all have CELL phones.
I found this really nice guy in an official taxi van right next to Casa marina. We used him like 6 times and tipped him well.
I will find his number. You can hire the "Publicos" for longer rides for 1/4 of the price of a taxi. Just pay for his gas, and they are yours for a song.
Numbers never work, they can get a sign so we can spot them easily.

    Taxis

When I was there last week, Jesus brought me back from Costombar to Sosua, wnated 800 pesos - settled to 700, and then another joined me, so it was 700 for 2 of us.

    BUT.

When I went from Sosua to Costombar, got a taxi from the ones lined up the street opposite the gas station. 350 pesos from sosua to Costombar. Now that was better, and we made a stop to get me my grande presidentes.
