MANGU: new disco at playa dorada

jack tar village hotel reopend its disco under the name EL MANGU. there is one of the same in the south, very in, so they try to repeat that success here, too.
at the playa dorada discos - the most popular until now CRAZY MOON - there is on weekends always a mix of serias, putas and nondescript chicas hanging around. gringos with some loose cash are welcome, sometimes you get even a freebie. as a basic rule: some girfriend chicas together: usually not putas. chicas alone, putas, watch your wallet. chicas with primo o hermano (cousin or brother): thats her chulo, hands off, watch wallet AND watch/ necklace.

I arrive Tuesday at noon and would also like to check it out. Perhaps we should gather a small group and invade the place

    Mangu

Just got back from POP Sunday. Mangu is the best club running in the Playa Dorada Complex. Nice looking crowd, after 3am the putas from POP and come in and look to service. Going rate was 2000 pesos but not a chance i would pay that. . I also checked out Crazy Moon about 4 times and every time was a bust. Dont bother with that dark shit hole. Hemmingways had it s nights with a mix of locals and tourists. I managed to score a cute drunken Canadian out of there. My overall favoruite clubs were in Caberete. Tourists from around the world, a cabana with putas across the road and the hottest, youngest women. I will be back soon! Cant handle all the putas in Sosua trying to get their hands down your pockets. I would probally end up in jail for punching one of them so i stayed away. Just my 2 cents.

Crazy Moon used to be a very happening place but now it is a dead zone.

At 195P for an MGD and 140P for a small glass of Preidente, it is no surprise.
This is ludicrous especially considering that I can drink all I want at my resort plus premium drinks for free in the Paradise casino.

The Jack Tar disco used to be a dead zone because it was only for Jack Tar guests.
Looks like they made a wise decision here to open the place up.
Hopefully the prices are not loco like at Crazy Moon.

Hemingways is nice but also quite expensive as well at 180P for an MGD.

Beers are pricy there but didnt bother with MGD when the local beer is just as good in my opinion. Presidente was 100 pesos and brand name vodka/orange was 130 pesos. Quite steep but figured im paying that price in my home town anyway and i have to pay for cover and parking so i didnt mind.

Mangu was the only club that had a cover charge of 150 pesos.
