Thinking of going down to DR to shoot porn for business.

I heard a handful of American companies have gone down to shoot hardcore porn, and was curious about any laws or restrictions regarding this being that I've only shot in the U.S.

I am trying to convince a producer to make the investment to shoot and fund all or part of my trip. Does anyone have any advice or connections regarding this kind of venture? I prefer to go through an agency or someone who could set up both female and male talent, all shoots would require valid IDs and releases.

I am just testing the waters with this and would prefer some constructive criticism or solid advice please. Thanks in advance.

if one was to be interested in such an adventure, I would suggest he either go Big city like Santiago or major campo, but do not fuck around in gringo areas where sharks look for individuals to black male rip off and scandle

your not the first to think of this, and remember there are people to pay for the right to play and if your caught doing it without permission the cost are not a pleasent investment

your might be tring to do something your not fully aware of the proper procedure

We could start a website and do the adds . . set up the parties and FUCKIN PARTY OUR ASSES OFF for free (+)

and then I did 2 or 3 clicks on google . . .

We had free rooms for ourselves . . 1 chica each every night and all we could eat and drink for as many night as we could book . . .

it was a fun dream and I'm VERY glad it never became anything more than a dream . . . WE'D BOTH BE IN JAIL ! ! !

Good advice guys my intentions in joining this board were strictly for pleasure but I do make adult videos as a side business. I thought since I was going down there might as well try and mix the two. Good points were made above and I think I'll keep the business in the States and just go down there for recreation. Maybe at a later date I will consider this option but for now I'll focus on myself and relaxing. I do like to add I run a legit business and have a company name...if this is an option in the future I will do things "by the book".

I have just a website in development and currently shooting more footage in the Manhattan area. So far the site has 10 scenes I will shoot you a link.

I have will have shot 7 more by this weekend (double shoot).


I hope to do one feature length adult film by the end of this year.

I funded my own website (you have to start somewhere...I had many dealings with shady producers), but mainly interested in editing/directing/writing. I Steve Hirsch were to come knocking at my door I would be at Vivid shooting the next day.

Yup I will not even be tempted to shoot down there commercially now I'm all about the recreation and maybe collecting some inspiration for shooting in the States. I don't need the headache. Thanks for the advice guys I appreciate it.
