Just Relax and have a good time. Don't drink or brush your teeth with tap water anywhere and the only place you need to pay in advance is La Passion. Don't worry, you are going to have the time of your life!

UK Parachute regiment have a saying :
Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

Youre prepared buddy , avoid the tap water and dont get too set on particular LP girls. Just see who you strike up a rapport with and let it flow....

    Enjoy yourself.

Re: rookie trying to get his act together before his trip

UPDATE my young and prepared friend:

Suzannas has moved... Turn left at the super super off pedro and up on your left about 3-400 yards

No more breakfast at the "Waterfront"... Try Rocky's for good breakfast

And there is also a good chicken stand across from 4 roses bar on pedro

Just past the lil' mercado just past the super super is a new lil' Tipico...Lunch: 100 peso "plato del dia" (plate of the day) good for the cost..
    enjoy and relax!

Also I didn't see El Flow on the list, cheap beer, 50 rd. and plenty and a good variety of chicas around and available for late afternoon into the evening fun. Also can find some chicas on the beach for afternoon fun, but then again it is Sosua, so just walking around you are bound to find afternoon fun if you choose, sucks you are staying in NG, so you have all the afternoon fun right outside your door.

    Bottom line enjoy!

Re: rookie trying to get his act together before his trip

Pretty much what everyone else said. LP's actually has good food on site. I know you will be concentrating on other things there but if you plan on staying there more than 3 hpurs then try their food. Trust me, when you get to LP's you will quickly lose track of time and not care so much about rushing out to other places.
Its better to pick a few spots and get deep than it is to pinball around many places. It will feel like you missed someting along the way.

BTW if you are going to Miami on JFK then to POP. WATCH YOUR BAGS!!! if you are checking them in Miami. They seem to lose bags like they are trying to set world records daily.

Don't worry you have 100 times more info than when I went down on my first trip, so you are well prepared. Enjoy it!!

Re: rookie trying to get his act together before his trip

the more i read the more i was getting mixed reviews with el flow.. ranging from either the place to be or the place where the girls went to relax and now work.. so of course ill see once im there.. its on the corner of dr rosen and pc if i remember correctly right?? and as far as cheap drinks i dont drink so water and coke from the bottle will prob be the things helping my thirst... appreciate the insight though

You enjoy your vacation and stay safe when you get sent to the sand pit, make sure you and your buddies come home in one piece. And of course thank you for doing what needs to be done, never a fun thing to leave your family and have to go to a foreign country to protect your homeland. We all owe you a great debt.

Try to stay with the site even when you are overseas, there will be plenty of things for you to read, and look at to help pass a little of the time away, until you can get back and enjoy for yourself.

Travel with a copy of your passport and some cash.

DO NOT DRINK THE WATER ANYWHERE UNLESS IT IS BOTTLED

    DO NOT SUCK THE ICE!

BUY YOUR PRESIDENTES FROM THE SUPERMARKET

YOUR LP EXPERIENCE WILL BE GREAT (I HAVE NOT GONE BUT EXPERIENCED A FEW OF PETERS GIRLS AS MY WINGMEN HAVE HAD THEM OVER)

TRY TO GET UP IN THE MORN AND WALK AROUND AND ENJOY THE PLACE BEFORE THE HOES GET GOING.

    HAVE A SAFE TRIP.

Re: rookie trying to get his act together before his trip

as far as what to add im not sure.. as far as food BIG D on the beach was a nice spot.. cafe cubano i enjoyed alot... only ate at bailys once for diner but it was good as well.. i mean every place a member promoted was pretty much on the money....

hhmm when they say pedro is the main street you may initially think the highway(one block down) is pedro but its not lol...

ive learned during your trip u might as well go ahead and book your room for your next trip in a few months..

all in all i think i went down with good info through the board.. not much to add because i didnt really venture off of the ideas i had already put in my head. im just glad my lil list is helping others.

Scratch the US Embassy off your list, they're as useless as tits on a bull.

Don't worry about the ice. Ice plants are anal about the quality of ice they produce, and everybody uses factory produced ice in their drinks.

And Double Shots and Triple Shots of Thank You on this one. I don't care about the Embassy part but the post about not sucking the ice had me thinking I had to stick to beer and shots in the smaller places.
