Wouldnt you have to pay a Wire fee... even if you dont its not worth the hassle to save 1 peso on a dollar but im sure there is a wire fee... enviosboya.com is like 5 bucks on every 100 sent..

It really only matters if you are swapping 5- 10 GRAND $USD.
For a ten day trip Just swap a hundred or two if it is higher.
Worry about how many asses you tap in a day not whether you got 38 or 40 PESOS/USD! Remember it's vacation!

True Yahoo doesn't reflect street conditions in the DR but it does tell the real world market rate which you can use to see trends.
Actually stop in at Super Super first, they sometimes offer the highest rate based on need, all that American liquor in there is not bought with pesos.

it's now at 35 to $1 us. I'd never thought it would drop this fast with the new President. Doesn't anyone know if general prices are dropping too?
