I was walking by the New Garden a couple of days ago, and the El Paraiso building across the street is under reconstruction. I was told the owner of the New Garden had bought it.

funny how a lot of places wi have frequented and made popular by spreading the word......
end up expanding....for good or worse......
I read yesterday that the New Garden is for sale. Asking price $ 4 Million US Dollars!!! Any dreamers??
Between everyone on this site, we could raise $4 mil??
Thanks! I'll pass on that investment oportunity.
but why would we
if I wanted to retire and liquidate everything I have I could buy it at the actual cash value price not the inflated sucker price and then 'retire' to manage a hooker hotel,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and end up being an std infected drunk and loose everything in 4 years or less
whats the old saying;
want to have a small fortune in a 3rd world country ............ start with a large fortune
I think I have better ways to invest my money and actually earn a return on investment, but thanks anyway
you only live once, but if you live it right once is enough
Jimmy and ISOC blew that place up years ago when it was New Keti Hotel or something like that...
It came into play after the Palace...
My buddy tried to get a reservation there a few weeks ago but they emailed that they were sold out. However, when we got to Sosua they had rooms because of cancellations. My buddy had already booked Europa. New Garden has always been a good value in terms of the rooms, breakfast, and location. The one thing I like about NG is their consistency. You know what to expect. I don't see or hear regular complaints the way I do about other places. I know some folks don't like the frat type atmosphere that sometimes exist while others do.
So, is Lorenzo the owner of the New Garden selling the place or expanding it?
