Romanoff is no Longer Owned by Andy and Klaus... So I didnt eat there last time... Some Dominican guy now owns it , and hes trying to use SIMILAR German Dishes on his cheezy little menu, but it looks kind of IFFY.. IMO if he went to DOMINICAN FOOD I would have chanced it, maybe.
The place looked STRIPPED BARE.. NO customers. Noone even DRINKING.. I did not bother to try anything , just not the same.. The only thing left is the name .. Eat at your own risk.

I'm guessing the Dominican guy always owned it, and the German guy was just renting. More or less the same set of circumstances like Franks used to be in Puerto Plata.

You don't see a lot of OWNERS of real estate in Sosua running a business, most are rentals because the actual owner thinks his property is worth millions of dollars.

I used to love the Schnitzel at Romanoff. Huge slabs of breaded pork filets smothered in mushroom gravy and lots of potatoes. I'm gonna miss em.
If you think it's love try not paying in the morning..

The newer pizza place(surrounded by chain link fence)
has some good pizza and pasta

The place across from terre linda is now across from bologna(D Colores)-food still good

and let me add Waterfront. The Filet was actually cooked as ordered and tasted really good
