    Avalon Restaurant

Located across the street from Eddy's sports Bar between the Romanoff and Susana's, where Il Molino once was, is an italian restaurant featuring pizza and pasta and a wide range of other dishes.

We ordered spaghetti with bacon and onions in a red sauce and Ravioli filled with meat and broccoli, oven baked. Both were very good with standard pricing. The service was attentive but not intrusive and a basket of bread was put out before the entrees arrived.

The decor is very nice with a Mediterranean feel and candles on the tables. There was only 1 other table occupied although it was late into the evening when we arrived.

While the food was satisfying it was not how I had, favourably, remembered from when it was Il Molino and while I would eat there again I would not rush to do so. I can't pinpoint the reason really as it was an enjoyable dinner, just not as i remembered.

When you can think of yesterday without regret and tomorrow without fear, you are near contentment.
Your opinions are not my problem...
