    Seeing the country..........

After my April trip, I am available to go to Jarabaccoa so anyone with a car and a chica that they want to be with 3 days, 2 nights, well PM me. I am game. Hotel on the river runs about $35 a night. Its best with 3-4 couples so we keep each other entertained.

    Go here http://home.tiscali.nl/~t794614/dr/maps/mapdr.htm

Find Santiago, and look about 1.5 inches down. Or follow Highway 1, southeast to La Vega and then follow highway 28 SW to Jarabacoa.

About how long of a drive from Santiago?

Well it depends on traffic in Santiago, during rush hour it can take an hour to get through the city.

It's probably 45 minutes from the cabanas on Autopista Duarte (hwy 1) to Jarabacoa.

The road to J. after you past the free zone when you get off the highway is surprisingly very nice.
