living the dream in the Philippines
so, how are they regarding taking chicas back???
The best thing about an ass, is when it is sitting on my face!!
No problems at all, girl needs to leave her id card at front desk and I walk her back to desk and she gets id card back.
I will give full report once home.
looks like a couple steps up from El Rancho and most places in Sosua..........
Please post some pics of the room itself!
I believe this is the place where during my first trip ever I and my wingman wentt on a Thursday early eve to have dinner. I recall the great sunset, and we decided to join the Buffet they were having. There was lobster, plenty of seafood, chcken etc.
Prices were very good! I will have to go look at old pics.....?
I think this is the place.... I took this pic at sunset from our table, do u notice the railings there??
I haven't been to Sosua since the summer of 2008, but was there for a total of some 15 days back then, and I remember that hotel well. My friend (whom I met on my frist trip and who quickly became my "wingman") started out at Sosua Bay, but moved out of there, and into the Europa, when he couldn't bring chicas back without paying something like $50 extra each night, AND getting a big hassle at reception each and every time he came and went. He also tried to show me the great view from his room, and the reception people gave US a hard time as well (maybe they thought we were mariconas or perhaps they were just giving a hard time to ANYONE who tried to bring in any guest who was not registered). He tried to tell them he just wanted to show me the room, for 15 minutes, but they said no, not without an extra fee (!!). Later I remember a guy trying to sell timeshares at the entrance to the beach (the El Batey side, nearest the hotel).
I wonder why they have a new policy now. Have they given up on the stupid timeshare shit? Has the bad economy forced them to stop pretending they are a fancy "resort" rather than just a decent hotel in the middle of a cheap hooker beach town?
If the hotel really is chica-friendly now, that is GREAT news, as the hotel is very well situated, right on the beach, and very close to the action at Classicos/Latinos, and right across from the club that is (was?) open late after Classicos used to close. If and when I ever go back to Sosua, I would love to stay at a decent hotel for once, with a good view, right on the beach, but only if it's chica friendly.

It was $50..00 per night w/ breakfast buffet. Pay nothing extra for the chica, and they have a new reception desk on the road to the beach. The entrance is under the maroon awning, in between the shops. This way you don't have to go through the main lobby, and you are right at the 2 buildings that they use for "mongers " now. There are 2 beautiful chicas who work this reception desk !! And, yes they will meet you after they are off work,, at another hotel of course. One of the chicas at the desk told me that if you are already a member of their vacation club, the price is only $35.00 per night.
