I thought I was the man when I got a chick down from 300 to 150 in NY. Said she had to pay her rent.So DR prices are still good in my book. The stories of those 50-1 were so memorable to read. I'll never see it, but I loved the stories.

28.00 again this morning, in the streets, Super Super, and other cambio places. Uh, I don't know what you guys are talking about, but 28.00 SUCKS!!
It translates into paying the same or more for food and other stuff than I pay at home. One of the DR's many selling points is it's cheapness. New York is more expensive than where I'm from, so I guess this is from my personal perspective.
