I am staying in Sosua for a few days...but i have a few friends staying at a resort in Puerto Plata..... would it be possible to go to the all inclusive and visit them and possibly get a few drinks where they are staying??...or would u hafto have a room in that resort??...would i have to buy a wrist band??

Daypasses can't be more then $50 if it is from 11 am till 6 pm.
If they ask more then they will try to rip you off....

if the Dr is similar to cuba each hotel has a different price structure
the higher the star rating the more they charge........better food and better choices of alcohol etc. in feb we were transferred to a five star resort where they even had real canadian whisky. i might hang out there for a day next trip.
the day pass option is great as you get to relax by the ocean,get to pig out at the lunch buffet, get to sit at the pool bar,get to see the hot...or not so hot ai guests and did i say you get to eat and drink ALL you want from 10am thru 6pm
i try to do one day each week there.....it breaks up the trip and also gets some better quality food....especially when in cuba
in cuba the day passes are
3 star 20 ( club amigo)
4 star 25 ( breezes )
5 star 50 ( lots ot them)
you only live once, but if you live it right once is enough

im from NY they are from Miami...although i whanna chill with some chicas i also whanna spend some time with some south beach girls ..since when is that a crime...lol.....thanks for your responses guys...Jimmy you let me down.

i did a three day trip in 2006 to playa dorado solo as it was a last minute deal and cheaper than flight only but i wasn't allowed to sign in a guest as i booked solo
i ended up using the resort as a place to relax after visiting sosua etc.
