I am going to jack my own post from another thread as I think it applies to this topic. Like ap-man said, for some guys a gift bag would not do shit. That is because the amount of money (or the addition of a gift bag) has little to do with the quality of the session. A gift bag can make your session better if both chica and gringo have a good attitude going in. The main advantage to gift bags that I noticed, was that it seperated me from other mongers, meaning the chicas tried hard to rock my world so I would stay with them for more than one session / day (I did not). It also helped spread the word that this gringo is a good guy and has gifts - a few days in the hottest chicas were looking for me instead of vice versa (imoo). I also made sure every chica knew that I was not a sucker or a softie.

Wow - good thread - lots to think about. I only have one mongering trip under my belt (Sosua in April) so I have limited experience with putas, and I have never been married, so I can’t compare to that either.

To put things in perspective (it would help a lot in this thread if everyone else did as well), I am 36, single, average looking, all my hair, overweight, and in a much higher than average tax bracket. I have no problem with women around my own age that are average in looks or weight back home. I have little to no luck with women that are 18-25 or stunners. The point of all this is to show that the most important thing in any situation in life (or in mongering) is that the attitudes of the parties involved determines the outcome of the situation more so than the circumstances of the situation. Have you ever heard the expression "if you change your attitude, you change everything". This applies to the human race, and crosses all cultural and social economic boundaries.

Like some others have stated, you don’t need money or good looks to get top quality younger women - and like others have said - yes, but that is not the norm and happens very rarely. They are both correct. The problem lies in the fact that the older male has the correct attitude to make it work, but the younger female does not. There are so few younger females with that attitude, it rarely happens. If you happen to be a celebrity, professional athlete, mega rich, or look like George Cloney, the woman's attitude towards you changes. It really is a simple concept.

Here is an example from real life and from mongering:

Pro Athlete - I am a super star - I am gonna get paid.
Sports Team - Let's sign this guy for as little as possible.
This player is almost always traded or released as a UFA.

Pro Athlete - I like it here - but I'm going where the money is.
Sports Team - This guy plays well but we have cap issues.
This player normally signs a 1 year deal for big money.

Pro Athlete - I love this team - I hope I can finish my career here.
Sports Team - We need this guy - but we have to be financially responsible.
This player normally signs a long term 'fair' deal.

Puta - I need money, guess I’ll sleep with a stupid gringo.
Monger - I love pussy, but I am gonna grind her down to the minimum.
This normally ends with a starfish, a hurry up, theft, and asking for more money.

Puta - I need money - this gringo seems to be ok.
Monger - I need pussy - this chica is hot and does not seem crazy.
This normally ends with a good session with a pre-negotiated 'higher' rate.

Puta - If I am going to fuck for money tonight I want it to be him.
Monger - If I am going to pay for a fuck tonight I want it to be her.
This session normally ends in a great GFE / PSE with a 'fair' price in the morning.

The attitudes of the parties determine the outcome - even if it is the same two person(s) in all three examples.

Same goes in the DR. Act like a man, have fun, and be respectful - and the chicas will follow. Act like a chump, be cheap, or an asshole - bad news for you. Take the time to test them out before you take them home. Dance, kiss, drink, have fun. No vibe = bad attitude = no fun for you. Regardless of how pimp you are or how much she needs the money. Ever notice that even when a chica gets the high price she is asking for, you can still get a rotten session. Ever notice sometimes you pay a daytime chica 500rd and she rocks your world for 2 hours. It dosent matter if you pay her 500rd or 5,000rd, the money does not factor into it, if she has a bad attitude towards you - you get a bad session - if you both have good attitudes towards one another - a great session.

Of course, these are just my opinions, not facts. Use it, or disregard it, your choice. Bottom line, when it comes to the chicas - don't be a hater!

my bags had a value of 11US on this most recent trip. No chica got that, unless it was for a savings minimum of at least 500 pesos but its not about the 5 bucks thats saved.
