Of course it's not a direct flight and you have a layover, probably in Montreal, and it leaves Toronto after midnight, so it may not be worth the trouble.
The good news is you arrive before lunch in POP so have pretty much a full first day.

I've only flown Air Canada a few times but it's never been bad. I guess I've been lucky and have not experienced any of their strikes or work to rule, all the pilots calling in sick bullshit.

If I spoke French I'd probably be living in Montreal.
I get lots of nibbles on job offers in Montreal, conditional on my being functional in French. Oh well, not going to attempt to learn another language at this point, I have enough trouble with English and mangling Spanish as it is.
