    Leo's Barber Shop

I'll be in the Sousa area a little over two weeks.
As I like to keep a clean shave and cut, I'm trying to find a good barbershop in the area.
Ive read about a spot called leo's, but that was time ago. Does anybody know if this Leo is still around and is the service good? Where is his shop in reference to Terra Linda?

Also... mi espanol sucks, will I need someone to translate?

There is a 'salon' on Pedro C right beside the entrance to the beach (on the rumba side). The guy there does great straight razor shaves. The girls can also do your nails and fix your wagon in the back.

From TL go left past Rocky's up to Pedro C. Cross the street twice to get in front of Rumba. Follow that down (towrds the beach) to the end of the block. It is the last buisness on the left hand side.

Don't know much about wagon fixin. I'm more concerned whether or not they can blend a tight fade.

That is a valid question...where IS Leo? Hadn't seen him in a long time! If you do find him, he gives an excellent haircut.

I remember going there and paying 100 pesos for a haircut and shave and the Dominicans that were waiting were mad because they all pay 150 pesos.

I always thought Beas was kidding about Leo. Great service for 100 pesos! I used to get my hair cut the day before a trip because I wasn't ready for a Dominican cut. Leo ended that for a while. I started seeing him on the regular for a few trips in a row. I've got pics of him cutting my hair in one of my trip reports.

I go to Jose every trip, as recommended by Lou. You can walk there from the Shark Bar, get a cut and shave, walk back, and only miss out on one Presidente. He's done a fine job every time.

I believe the babershop past the...ummm my memory is fading. Well there is a liquior store that has the same name as the grocery store. When you past that place there is a babershop. I believe he only charges 60. It is next door to one of the apartments that some of the chicas stay in.

I never know what to tip when the price is lower than what I tip in the states!

I know I've been gone from the states for a long time, but just how much is a regular old haircut?

I paid 80 pesos up until a month or so ago.

Depending on where.... $8-20 USD for a normal mens cut.

It's $11 in my "country" town, $13-$20 throughout the city. My brother-in-law charges me $10 (free for a funeral) at his shop...familia discount.
