Deep Sea fishing is not that great on the North Coast. Although a couple places do it, Mels Tours is one, and if you search "fishing" in the Sosua forum you'll find the other.

If you speak any spanish I would go early morning to the beach and hook up with a small dom boat going out.

    Lol @ rookie :lmao:

Victors got a great boat and a great crew. We've been out with them a couple times the last few years.

He has no computer. So no email. You have to call. Every time, we called him when we landed.

    Re: fishing in sousa

Never again! I have fished in most destinations I have been. But Sosua fishing was the worst.

We go out and the guy is trolling with no outriggers, so the lines get tangled every once in a while. He has a rigged ballyhoo and there are 3 foot swells and the bait is just bouncing around and so were we. maybe deep sea fishing, but not trolling on rough seas. Never again. Save your money on fish in Classico. plenty of fish in there!

    Re: fishing in sousa

This was in July of '08. When we went in '09, we didn't have a good day of fishing (although I slept great in the cabin! I just love being on the water!!!). But that's why they call it fishing and not catching!

They always provide sandwich's and drinks (pop and beer).
