    Current rate of exchange March 30, 2005

    At the bank it was 27.25 and the street rate was 26.50 - 27.00

    no problemo changin money on a Sunday Late afternoon ?

    if I get to Sosua on a Sunday around 2 or 3 PM are the cambios' closed ??

    I got like 125 pesos in my passport . . . I'm gonna need more then 125 pesos ! !

    Check out the side street by PJ's. They are usually open on Sunday's. And better rates. The main strip spots are sometimes closed. Worse come to worse, go to Europa. And they will not cheat you.........

    Yeah I go to the supermarket during the day and the guys accross form PJ's at night. They whip out the calculator and give you the DOP first and let you count it then give them your money. Tell em you know papo
