I just asked somebody here and they told me he was the father in a gang movie called boyz in the hood. I think I saw that years ago but wouldnt call it a blockbuster worth remembering and really didn't remember who he is.

I guess I am really out of touch.

I don't want to sound ignorant but I never heard of most of it.

I never seen any Matrix reloaded or whatever. I would guess that less than 5% of people in MN would have ever heard of him.

Has he ever done any one thing big??

Rent King of NY. He's done many movies, but That one I think you will really Like. He doesnt have a lead part but its good. Christopher Walken, Wesley Snipes, David Coruso,Steve Buscemi, et al. Good cast. Its A Drug kingpin movie and the lead character Frank White (walken) want to fund a Hospital.
Lots of really good scenes in that movie. Its a classic. The scene where he and wesley snipes(tommy the cop) shoot it out in the rain and Jimmy jump( Fishburne) is Laughing out loud even as he is down mortally wounded, really good shit....lots of highly tense scenes.

CSI is too slow moving for me so that is out.

But as far as his list of credits it is extensive. I sincerely never heard of him.

Nor have I seen him in or should I say remembered him in any of those movies.

For example Death Wish I have the entire 5 series on tape and he must have had a 5 minute part or something.

Like I said I asked 7 people and only one had any clue and only new about the gang thing boyz in the hood.

I googled him also and he isn't real well known from any of that stuff you posted. At least not in the Midwest.

I don't watch Matrix or any of that other stuff.

I watch New Release Movies and Sports and News and a few Top TV show like the travel channel and Pawn Stars so I don't have anynore time.

But again I meant no disrespect to him or anyone but if he was in Death Wish he ain't no Charle Bronson or Jill Ireland or those 2 Italian actors that played the cops and mayor.

He aint' no Denzel Washington.
