Anything over $400 is considered extremely high.
We surveyed 100 chicas and the top 69 answers are on the board. Here's the question...
I.S.O.B.B.C.
i paid 1120 from jfk to pop for april 15 but it went down allredy to close to 800 and i got cradit for it
I think we can forget flying directly into POP for a while. At least at reasonable fare.
From DC to POP is hovering around $750.00 with 8+ hour layovers each way. For that much I'll go through the extra hassle of flying into STI and busing over to Sosua.
And to make matters worse, reports say airfares are to go up an average of 10% across the board before the end of the year.
Play around with your dates, May 19 through the 24th you can get 378 round trip with taxes. From JFK to Santo Domingo...Not a bad option....
Or for a 100 more you could do this for the same time frame.
New York City, NY (JFK) to Santo Domingo, DR, DO (SDQ) Puerto Plata, DR, DO (POP) to New York City, NY (JFK)
- Total: $485.20
well the cheapest flight on Orbitz to go to POP from Tampa is $945 during the Memorial Day week......
and going a week earlier not during the holiday is $860......now that is nuts
POP isn't even competitive anymore........what happened to the $350 R/T flights
the cheapest places for me to fly to from Tampa are Meddy, Montego Bay and Santo Domingo.......
I'm not going to count STI cause coming and going in the wee hours of the morning is the last thing I want to do on a vacation....
if I drive over to Orlando which is an hour and a half away......I can get JetBlue nonstop to Montego Bay for $350 and under......some flights as low as $238 R/T!
and mi hear they are a top airline with comfortable seats etc etc and they don't charge for a checked bag.....
parking is cheaper in Orlando than Tampa too.....
JetBlue is probably the ticket for this guy on my next reach......
