    Hard Rock Cafe - Cabarete

Buzz on the street today is that Hard Rock Cafe has acquired the Ocean Sands Casino.

I'm guessing the same team that did due diligence and market analysis for Nikki Beach were involved!!!!!!!!!!!

For those that don't know the Casino (or new HR Cafe) is out of town heading eastwards.

Man, I just can't see this.. Willie, how about you? Enough people in Cabarete to support a HRC?

If they do it will probably be a bootleg outfit and call themselves "Hard Rok".
Like a few years ago I saw a few stands on Sosua beach selling "Hard Rock Sosua" T-shirts.

Yup. I bought several for souvenirs...they faded after the first wash. Bootleg shirts for a bootleg company.

Seems it may be bigger than just a normal Hard Rock Cafe

They opened their first AI hotel resort in punta cana so maybe they are looking to expand on that concept.

It couldn't be...not in Cabarete. The one in Punta Cana is going for high end customers. We're talking rooms at 400+ a night.

A Cabarete Hard Rock would have to be a lot cheaper, IMHO....

Yeah the HRC punta cana resort is not open yet. I had no idea 400 per night. Per person? I wanted ti check it out but am not paying 800 bucks a day to stay there. . . . .. lol. . 400 per day for the 2 of us and I may do a long weekend if the place was that nice.

Been wroking so damn much I need a short vacation to recharge the batteries!

I think it is open now, there was a DR1 guy that stayed there last weekend. He liked it so much, he didn't want to leave.

He said the place absolutely drips opulence.

It's the old Blue Moon resort, BTW.
