When you can think of yesterday without regret and tomorrow without fear, you are near contentment.
Your opinions are not my problem...

Apos, why don't you check some mix CD sites. where you find current list of what's being pumped. keeps you up to date on everything.

only problem with La Kalle is it set up like other stations. you end up hearing the same 10 songs all day. It really pops on certain days and nights. the nights, you'll hear everything.

My advice would be to get the mix-cd's at DR$125-150 at the beach and buy 10 or so, some bachata, some merenge, some reggeaton and some romantico (mustn't forget those)..

Some good names to look out for are already mentioned but I think I missed a few, like Elvis Martines (El Mayimbe) Zacarias Ferreira and Monchy y Alexandra, whose smooth bachatas are very well loved..

Personally, I love to buy the concierto DVD's and pop them into the notebook.. Phoenix and LM might remember a certain reggaeton DVD that got the party started..

    Wherever I May Roam

And the road becomes my bride
I have stripped of all but pride
So in her I do confide
    And she keeps me satisfied
    Gives me all I need

And with dust in throat I crave
    Only knowledge will I save
To the game you stay a slave

    Roamer, wanderer
    Nomad, vagabond
    Call me what you will

But I'll take my time anywhere
Free to speak my mind anywhere
    And I'll redefine anywhere

    Anywhere I may roam
Where I lay my head is home
