There used to be a regional airline operating from PUC-MBJ daily but no more.

Your best bet is hipmunk booking a 3 stop tour.

I did DCA-SDQ-MBJ-DCA in July/ August for around $750. I don't know of any direct flights. You will have a layover in MIA, FLL, MCO or PTY depending on the airline.

Great. $660 on top of the flight from and return to his home airport ($550 in my case totalling over $1,200) just to get to the next island and he might as book R/T to Nairobi.

A 3 city option is the best bet.

Coming from london, a trip to nairobi is actually cheapter than a trip to the DR.

I would choose that over both D.R. and Jamaica.

The point was that a 3 stop tour is cheaper than a round trip to D.R. from London and an additional R/T between D.R. and Jamaica. Cheaper by at least $400.

The quickest way would be by speed boat. Other than that you could fly from Mo'bay to Miami and
from Miami to POP or STI with American Airlines.

    Re: DR TO MONTEGO BAY

    cheers for the help guys
i went to mombasa last year and it was ok but not sure i would go again
at the moment it looks like i will have to pay $1100 from london to pop via ewr and a return from santo domingo to montego bay for $650
its not cheap but if i want to do it i dont see any other option
the return from london would be with united and the mbj flight with copa
i will leave it till about april or may and hope the prices go down
    cheers for the help
