Ok, so im scrounging up money for my trip to sosua and a idea poped in my head. Why dont I get an all-inclusive hotel and have a women meet me at the airport and I just take her there instead of keep paying puntas left and right for 5 days. I would tell them in the begining that she is my GF, that way she can get in. This way I can save on food and beverage. I could give her several hundred dollars and tell her she can eat and drink till her hearts compound. Good idea? or no? If it is where can I talk to one of these puntas on the net, so that I can set something up?

Now if you want to fake wifey a chica for a day or two, that's fine. Go crazy for a few days and then settle down on that cool one. But don't lock yourself in on some chica, on your first trip to the D!

I agree with the above posters on this.

Even if you lucked up with one that is cool and to your liking, you could easily spend more money for that round the clock 24-7 chica then you would by staying at Rocky's (only $25 per night) and paying as you go. With a little self-control (not always easy to do in DR) you could get by on a tight budget with a few STs and one or two TLNs by just getting a cheap hotel in Sosua as long as you eat and drink cheap.

Couldn't agree more. Vacation isn't the place to penny pinch in my opinion. Especially a place you haven't been. Shit happens and money solves most problems. And the above posters are correct. Now if you had been there a few times and have a novia/regular then that would be a different story.

Actually the all incusive hotel is where you will spend valuable money.
They also charge per person, doubling your hotel cost.

If I were in your shoes, Id'e have no question about going to BlackBeards.

1500 ST or 3000 TLN per session

Plus food and drink.

Seems cheaper to get a room at Rocky's or D'Piero. You can eat and drink all day, on the money you save on the room per night. Then negotiate with the chica's! Meet some guys from ISOC, and get the lay of the land!

ya, the rocky's route seems the better option for cheap charlies like myself. BB's sounds expensive.

Doesn't seem like he can be thrown to the wolves so soon, even with isoc around.

Stay in BB's and they will cater to your every need and cannot under the rules of the hotel overcharge you.

Now they can't keep you from falling in love with them there (That happens a lot at BB's)

But they will make sure you have a drama free couple of days.
