Its just past Janice Supermarcardo on the right leaving Cabarete. A better place to hang IMHO is at the Texaco station as you enter from Sosua, especially on the weekends.

Sorry, don't know. I just had my car washed early in the day. Four years ago, when we lived across the street, it was very noisy all night.

Since I started traveling to the DR I've come to learn and accept that Car Wash's are a place to pick up chicas/putas...but I've never asked why in the world, culturally, in the DR car wash places have come to universally be places to find chicas. I never heard this to be so in Colombia....I mean how did this start? Is there a practical reason? Does it go back to that scene in Cool Hand Luke where the guys on the chain gang are watching the babe wash her car and her big tits are rubbing against the soap and water on the windshield?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the car wash/discos are a unique Dominican institution, and aren't as popular anywhere else in Latin American countries....

I was thinking of being an entrepeneur and opening a
cock fight arena/fish fry/topless cigar bar....could be another Dominican tradition in the works!!!!!!!

Saw Frank Reyes there once. It was packed times ten. Other than then, it always seemed close to ghost town whenever I passed it.

    Re: Car Wash_Mega Wash Cabarete

The funny thing with married Dominican men that are moderately to well off is that they almost all have girlfriends on the side or tell me that they will pick up a puta once in a while. They all tell me that they have to be very careful and discreet because their wife will kill them or take half of what they own. I am guessing that they pick up the puta at the car wash and then drive her to the Cabana in their tinted glass car/truck... It's all so no one knows, I dink..

Why buck tradition? Add a few car-wash bays, and go with the soapy flow.

    Re: Car Wash_Mega Wash Cabarete

Mega car wash is in central Cabarete, entrance is just past Wow bar in Plaza Alexandra. Gringo owned.

Las Chicas car wash is 2 miles outside of Cabarete opposite Orilla del Mar condos.

The carwash at the Isla gas station in Sabaneta is a cool place to hang but mainly on a Sunday afternoon.

None have p4p onsite or even available chicas and guys will be washing your car.

Las Chicas carwash used to have another site in Islabon that had chicas, rooms and a nightclub but the Dominican owner closed it down after being robbed at gunpoint 4 or 5 times.
