Jimmy thought you would have residency there by now?? I went to the DR consulate down town (NYC) to notorize my birth cert. sent it to my old man so he can get me residency.. I paid $150 for all the paperwork.. Glad i still have family down there or i would had to pay at less $1000!!
You can get your DR residency in NYC. I need to get info on how to do that. I thought you had to do it in Santo DomingoOriginally Posted by vdubman30
Well since my father live there its that much easier to get for me!! I believe the Dominican Consulate(NYC) can give all the info you need but finalizing your paperwork will be done over there!!
I paid 300 pesos to get out after my 37 day vacation.

FROM DR1.COM
If I extend my stay over the 90 period tourist card, what happens?
Nothing. You have to pay a penalty. The scale starts at RD$60 for up to nine months. RD$100 for a year, RD$160 for a year to a year and a half. RD$200 for a year-and-a-half to two years. The maximum is RD$600 for staying more than five years.
I was there and saw the charts. I paid 300 pesos and thats the fee up to 90 days but they said it was changing June 1, 2005 to only 30 days.Originally Posted by RSMMAN
