    C.
    1) Apple is not collecting this data.
    2) This hidden file is neither new nor secret.
    3) This “discovery” was published months ago.

In the state of Michigan state troopers have a device in their cruiser that will rip every bit of information from your cell phone in 90 seconds.

Come on, Apos, there are still a few letters left in the alphabet, you can do better than that.

This has been done forever. The FBI has used this data directly from satellites for years. You can easily delete the file after the sync process or by accessing the harddrive. Kinda like when people used ipods as external memory.

My last trip home, they ran some program on my laptop, not sure what they were looking for, but since I don't save anything on it, nothing was discussed.

Not sure about this. It may be an app. Also if you disconnect the satellite privileges of the phone in settings then it can't. These phones are merely computers. It can't do anything you don't tell it to do.
