Love C is on one of the worse roads outside of Sosua and if you need to take a moto from Sosua central, I would say Dulce should be you choice, especially at night time. Pricing is pretty much the same for both, however rooms at Dulce are newer with a upstairs entrance and many of the rooms come w/ a nice Jacuzzi.

    Pricing for Dulce Only (5/6/11)

    Reg. Rm 3 hrs RD490 US$13
    4-5 hrs RD590 US$15.65
*Total Night after 11pm for reg rm RD1,500 US$39.80

    Rm w/ Jacuzzi 3 hrs RD690 US$18.30
    4-5 hrs RD790 US$21.00
    *Total Night after 11pm RD2,000 US$53.00

US rate is based on 37.70 and not listed at Dulce.

    * Couldn't really get workers there to explain the TN policy. What I could see on the hand written paper is TN RD 0,000 after 9am-10pm. Also, didn't meet the owner, but was told he is a gringo that speaks English.

There is no comparison, Dulce Secreto is nice to American standards.

Once you park in the garage, there are stairs in the garage that lead up to your room. All the furniture is nice and new inside the rooms with a flat screen tv. They have a menu on the table to order drinks and food to be brought to your room.

The highest level room has a jacuzzi tub in front of the bed and something that looks like a wide ladder leaning against the wall with a adjustable seat to smash a chica out standing up.

Thumbs Up Re: Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)

    Thanks guys,

    While
I knew some of the people involved in the Love Cabañas I was never satisfied with the location, which is terrible IMO nor the decor so I'm happy to hear about Dulce Secreto. It sounds more like what one would find in Santiago, Santo Domingo, etc...

Re: Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)

I was at Dulce Secreto a week ago for a few hours.

It lived up to my expectations, clean, efficient and quick service when we ordered anything. It was also the first time there for the chica I was with and she said it compared favourably with the ones she had been to in SD.

Definetly an improvement over the Calypso.

Re: Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)

Is there somebody always at the front desk?

I am thinking of doing the crackhead SPIRIT AIR flight and might arrive into Sosua at 4-5AM and need a place to chill till I can check into NG or TL

Also it might influence future trips about staying at BB's, and heading up to Sosua when it slows down, and using the cabanas up there instead of driving these ho's back to BB's.

It's a cabana you don't go to a front desk, you just pick an open garage door drive in and the room is yours. All transactions are taken care of through a little case on the door in your room, you never see the person collecting the funds or providing you with service. You could ask security at the front if there is a front desk. I went there yesterday and spent the night with 2 chicas. I need to post my pics of the place once I get home so I can download pics off my phone to my computer and upload.

Its like a hotel, and there are people coming in and out all night long and some have full kitchens.

I admit that I also do not understand how to conduct business in a cabana. I once tried to book a cabana in Santiago, but I could not figure out where the front desk was. I ended up just booking a hotel I knew. I also do not remember seeing any open garage doors.

Has anybody ever posted cabana 101 for newbies?

Re: Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)

these cabanas are great ideas for Sosua, when I lived there they didn't exist; I remember one time I had my ex and daughter staying in my condo, and wanted to spend time with a chica, I had to go all the way to POP, for a few hours.

Great for the AI guys who are there with their families and need some quality private time with a random chica. Great for the married Sosua guy who also need that quality private time. Great for the solo guy who gets a great price on an AI, and can't bring the chica back to the AI. Now that Sosua is trying to become more family oriented the cabanas will get much more business.

It is like the OP said you pull in they have garage doors the open doors are availible rooms go in let your door down and they have drive through windows that you pay through no one actually has to see you they have phones in the room where you can oder food and drinks.

You drive in, and there is a metal thing where you pay and get any food that you order.

Re: Secreto Dulce (New Sosua Cabana)

Cabanas came in very handy while visiting one of my amigas at her family's house. in POP there are many cabanas northwest of the city.

The ones that I have been to normally have three grades of quality. Cheap, middle of the road, and luxury. I opted for luxury and was impressed. Large bed, flat screem TV w/porn, large bathroon with shower (two condoms and comb on sink), jacuzzi and couch (red velvet).

As said above pick your grade, pull in garage and shut the door. There was a small door from the garage to the cabana. After entering the phone would ring. The girl on the phone would ask if I wished to order food or drinks. Also if the standard time X hours is OK or if I wished longer.

There was a small sliding door on the wall. there is also a corresponding sliding door on the other side of the wall and a small platform in between.

When you hear the outside door open and close, you open your sliding door. There on a tray would be my beers and an itemized bill. Take the beers and/or food. put the bill and money back in the wall and shut your door. They then open their door and take the money.

When finished get in your vehicle open the garage door and leave.

I always have a rental car. I assume that when you have a taxi that you enter, he leaves and you shut the garage door. Same as above but empty garage. When done call the taxi he arrives and beeps his horn and you open garage door and exit.

Sometimes instead of two sliding door there is a lazy-susan type device open on one side. They put in food/drinks/bill. You rotate the device. Take beer/food bill. Leave money, rotate back out.

You never see the person, they never see you. Good discretion.

The more I learn about the DR, the more I love it. A motel set up for private encounters. We need Cabanas in the US and Canada!
