I put up a short Punta Cana report last year. DrDreamer has it spot on. Only a couple of locations and they're going to be very expensive. If you want to hang out at an AI and enjoy a beautiful beach, the Punta Cana is good for you. If you want to fuck lots of whores, then it's not.

I agree that Punta Cana is not the hot spot for "working girls" but I guess its all in your game. I go to Punta Cana all the time and I have very good luck with the ladies. I typically get the non-working girls while there and I have taken them to a Cabana instead of the AI where I stay. I have a few favorites there and I see them regularly.

I won't suggest any "fine women" as we all have different tastes, but if you want a real challenge you might consider hiking to the top of Pico Duarte as three of our members did last summer.

Unfortunately their long report is in a restricted area of this board but I will just quote fragments to give you the idea:

Last weekend I headed into the mountains near Jarabacoa with 4 other guys to climb Pico Duarte. With an elevation of 3100 meters (10,164 feet), it is the highest peak in the Caribbean.

After passing through Jarabacoa, we arrived in the little town of La Cienega late Friday afternoon. Pico Duarte is located in a National Park, and you are required to stop at the Ranger Station in La Cienega to register and pay the park entrance fee (150 pesos per person). You are not allowed to climb Pico Duarte without a guide, so at the Ranger Station we also made arrangements to hire one, plus two pack mules for our gear (sleeping bags, etc). We also rented a “riding mule” to bring with us in case someone became injured and needed to be brought back down the mountain.

By the Ranger station are a couple of cabins, and we made arrangements for the five of us to sleep in one that night.

I was invited to join them but as I had just had an operation that was out of the question. After hearing all their experiences it was clear it would have been too much for me even had I been fit and ten years younger. It is not an excursion to be lightly entered into, and certainly don't take one of your "fine women" with a tight skirt and high heels with you.

Hi All,

I am new here, I will be returning home to New York from Miami via POP . Since this is my first time in the DR, I was curious if anyone will be at Blackbeard's those two days (4/15 and 4/16). I have spent a lot of time in Hong Kong and Vietnam but this is my first trip to the islands. Will try to report back after the trip. Happy hunting all.
