Hello fellow mongers. I am new to the site but not new to DR travels. I will be browsing the forums to get answers for common questions. Will be travelling to Sosua for 4 days (Nov 8 - Nov 12). Looking to catch up on things as I have not been there for more than 10 years. Started my travels to DR just this year and only to the Capital...Santo Domingo. Any hoot, I will give my input once I get back and share my experience. Thanks.

Hello and thanks to each of you who has given practical information on Sosua. I went to Costa Rica last year and had a great time, but this year I wanted to try something different. Looks like some other ISOC folks will be there when I am, Oct. 29th through Nov. 5th.

What do you want to know? Many good restaurants in Cabarete. A great guy on the board owns a small hotel in Cabarete. (Ohmmm) If I really like a chica, this is where I take her for a date. If you are travelling with your wife or girlfriend, this is where I would go in the DR. I like Cabarete much better than All Inclusive resorts.

Now if the purpose of your trip is to Fuck Hoes......GO TO SOSUA!

I have met too many guys who have gotten hotel and flight deals, staying in Puerto Plata or Cabarete. They take a day trip to Sosua, find out that is where the action is, then end up paying for a second room in Sosua.

caberete has a very nice beach great place to explore day and night lots of beach bars and discos good restaurants also beach area gets pretty good at night time on the weekends lots of young ex pat european girls living in cabarete and still a tons of chicas every where maybe not like sosua but not as aggressive as sosua can be at times but like dquick said if your looking for pussy just go to sosua in cabarete you will have to work a lot harder and it might cost you more then you will pay in sosua and in sosua there are chicas every where so it's great
