I'll be in DR last week of May, and am looking for a guide in Santo Domingo, MP's, casinos, discos,etc. Don't want to shop, sightsee. Just eat drink and screw as often as possible. PM/email me if interested. Thanks!

In the past, I get a street taxi and they show me around gladly. They know all the spots. It was about $25 for 4-5 hours.

In the capital renting a taxi by the hour is a good choice. True
they normally know the "hot" spots all over town. On my recent
trip I used Miguel of Tropical Taxi. His cell is (809)-452-8866.
He was very helpful and speaks some English.

Try Aero Taxi numbers: 686-1212 or 685-1212. They all have air condition and if you make the taxi driver call it in to dispatch.....they will give a set fair rate. Last trip I did that I was charged $RD500 for 1/2 day. They know where all the hot spots are. Make sure you don't go with the tourist guide/taxis....they make a commission whenever they go to any shop, casa which you then pay overprice for whatever you purchase.
