Gdogg....several years ago there use to be an airline called Air Santo Domingo, but can't locate them on the web today. Try the BUS.....or maybe I should buy a bus, Tropic Bob Tours, and I can shuttle mongers across the island....hmm. that may be an idea!

I like being first in my class at everything! Sorry, Goodog
We were planning to fly out to POP from ORD in September but the ticket prices are over $500.00. Can somone tell me if it is worth to fly out to SJU for $350.00 and take a cab or something to Sosua? How far is it?
Thank you for your help.
Hi Jimmy, thank you so much for a quick response. How does the customs works in SJU? Do we have to do customs in SJU and in DR? Where do we do the customs for DR?
Since we are a group of 10 - 12 guys from Chicago, the savings we are looking at is around $1250 total!!!
Great!!! If we are getting to DR via road, where do they check customs? I am sure few people in this forum have gone to Sosua through SJU. I greatly appreciate your feedback.
Isn't there some confusion here?
SJU is San Juan in Puerto Rico.
How is he going to take a cab to Sosúa?
Reminds me of Dominican Billy's story of visiting a Dominican family in the DR when he was still living in Canada. They asked him whether he drove all the way from Toronto.
The only place from where you can get to the DR by road is Haïti.
Yes, I am sorry, I was confused!!! LOLLL .... I typed the wrong airport code!!! I meant to say STI and Jimmy's answer was correct since he thought I was asking about STI ....
I know that you can fly direct to POP from Montreal, Toronto, New York, and Miami. Anyone know of any airlines that fly direct to POP from other cities?
