I've been a member for a while, but haven't really posted much.

I'm not new to the hobby, I've been to Costa Rica about (ummm...40 times) and MDE.
To add: I have also Mongered in Germany (FKK's and Frankfurt) and Eastern Europe.

Trying Sosua in October for the first time.

I'm 35 and fluent in Spanish.

Any links to informative (newbie) threads would be appreciated.

If anybody has questions about CR, we can trade info.

Are Sunday to Wednesday good days to go?

You can find whatever you need any nights but Sat & Sun up in Classicos is usually hopping. I always try to stay over a couple weekends. Mon & Tues will probably be the slowest night.

Personally..I think you will miss the best days.
You are more seasoned than than most DR newbies..with 40 CR trips, and you speak spanish. You will still find nice chicas for sure...

BUT...I would never recommend a newbie to go without including at least one Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night trip to Classico's...(or maybe all three).

Try Sun-Sun. If you only have a couple days do thurs-sun.

I tried all kinds of combinations. JetBlue is slick. Going to POP, they offer $99 on Sun-Tue and coming back $99 (Tue-Thu).

And I only wanted to do a 3-4 day trip.

My options were Sun-Wed, Mon-Thu, or Sun-Thu.

There are so few gringo's there now, the chica's aren't leaving like they use to on Mon and Tues. They can't afford to lose a possible client!! They are there, just look around!!
