Very depressing news....

This is really depressing.

Jazzy's Night Club in Santo Domingo had a fire this weekend. There were 9 fatalities, 6 of which were girls. Two of them were sisters.

I knew a few of them very well..

How depressing..

CNN could fuck up a chinese fire drill..
The fire department was called at 1am, but didn't get there until 3. Didn't make a difference to those who died.
Yeah Jimmy... I think the sisters were the ones who gave their numbers to Maximus..
This has really got me depressed, even though I wasn't crazy about the place...

That really is sad.

On a safety note: One of the reasons I stopped going to Lapsus Niteclub was that they only had one exit. I don't remember the setup of Jazzy's, but it is advisable to look for exits when you go to any of these indoor clubs. I don't believe there is a requirement for emergency exits in the DR.
